Grevista is a U.S. distributor of food products from Vietnam, starting with one cocoa powder. We do not manufacture it. The cocoa is produced in Vietnam by VNCACAO CO., LTD (also listed as VN Cacao / Vietnam Brother Cacao) under its Tbros label. Grevista sources it, makes it available on Amazon in the United States, and runs this website so you can check what is in it before you buy.

Our aim is simple: help home cooks and label readers choose and use pure, unsweetened, non-alkalized cocoa powder, with step-by-step recipes, plain-English explanations and lab reports published in full.

Who makes the cocoa?

VNCACAO CO., LTD, a cocoa producer in Vietnam that sells under the Tbros label. It is the company named as the client on the laboratory reports we publish, and the entrant listed on the Academy of Chocolate’s 2018 results as “VNCACAO CO, LTD — Tbros Cocoa powder”.

How is the cocoa made?

According to the producer, Trinitario cacao grown in Vietnam is fermented and dried, then roasted and milled into powder in small batches. The powder is not alkalized and nothing is added, so the ingredient list has one item: cocoa powder. The cocoa is grown and cared for in a naturally sustainable way, and made with a minimal roasting and grinding process that keeps the bean’s natural qualities.

Why do we publish every lab report?

Because “pure” and “high quality” should be numbers you can check, not slogans. Many brands say their cocoa is “lab tested” without naming the laboratory, the date or the result. We publish the full documents instead.

  • Heavy metals: arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury not detected (VietLabs test report, ISO/IEC 17025, issued October 23, 2026).
  • Aflatoxins: not detected at 0.45 µg/kg (same report).
  • Polyphenols and epicatechin: measured by Quatest 3 (2021, on beans) and the Institute of Chemical Technology, Ho Chi Minh City (2018).

You will find each report with its reference number, date, method and limitations on the full lab reports and award records page.

Who writes this website?

Articles and pages are written and updated by the Grevista Editorial Team, the Grevista staff responsible for this site. Many articles began as posts on our earlier store website and have been rewritten and fact-checked for this one. Where an article relies on lab data or research, the source and its date are listed on the page.

Where can you buy the cocoa?

Grevista products are sold and fulfilled through Amazon, so payment, shipping, tracking and returns follow Amazon’s policies. This website is where you learn about the cocoa; the purchase happens on Amazon. Compare the 200 g box and the 250 g and 500 g luxury gift boxes on Our Cocoa.
